Symptoms of cardiovascular heart disease are often initially underestimated. If you experience any of the symptoms described below, do not hesitate to visit a doctor – most effectively treat the disease in their early stages. To detect discrete symptoms beginning of cardiovascular disease should be regularly subjected to periodic inspections.

The headache is often the only symptom of hypertension. The most common is dull, located at the back of the head. If the headache recurs persistently, measure blood pressure, preferably in the course of his lifetime. They may be accompanied by visual disturbances, epistaxis, flushing, excessive excitability or sweating.

Vertigo is a feeling circular motion environment or your own body or a feeling of instability. May occur by lowering blood pressure (in the course of many diseases, and medicines), or be the result of obstruction of blood flow in arteries leading to the brain (atherosclerosis, blockages).

Palpitations, feeling abnormal, accelerated, irregular heartbeat. This may be caused by arrhythmias in ischemic heart disease, heart valves defects, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, or infection.

Retrosternal pain (chest pain) occurring during strenuous exercise and subside within a few minutes after its discontinuation. They can also worsen in stressful situations during meals, a change of weather, the sudden change in temperature. Are dull, expander, popping, squeezing, choking, burning, shooting. Are located behind the bridge or on the left side of the chest (rare right). May radiate to the left upper limb and throat, jaw or back. It may be accompanied by shortness of breath or weight on the chest.

Dyspnea (shortness of breath) may occur after exercise, sometimes accompanied by a dry cough, or different kinds of sounds in the chest (wheezing, whistling, bubbling).

Cyanosis is a bluish gray discoloration of the skin and mucous membranes caused by reduced oxygen content in the blood. It can be a symptom of heart failure.

Edema occurs when the tissues of the patient is collected excess water, this results in frequent urination at night and in the morning puffiness disappear or significantly reduced.

Syncope or fainting is a momentary loss of consciousness, which may be preceded by symptoms such as headache, chest pain, cold sweats, pallor, palpitations, ringing in the ears.

Fatigue can be a symptom of heart failure, anemia or excessive blood pressure lowering.

Xanthomata is raised deposits in the skin, usually located on the upper eyelids in the corners from the nose, may also appear in the Achilles tendon, on the elbows, skin lines of the hand. They are a manifestation of lipid disorders.
